Harvard Model Congress Europe

HMCE is a simulation of American government in all its spheres of activity. With the guidance of teachers and Pierce graduates, students gather information and examine current issues in depth with relation to Law, International Relations, Economics, the Environment, Health, Human Rights, Journalism, etc.

At the Conference, and with the guidance of Harvard University students, Pierce students participate in domestic committees such as the Senate, the Supreme Court, the Presidential Cabinet and in international committees such as the International Criminal Court, the World Bank and the World Health Organization and others. At this educational meeting, our students come in contact with their peers from other countries, they talk, negotiate, draft bills and resolutions and make decisions, always in search of the best possible solution. They learn to form an opinion and to support it. The language of the conference is English.
