All A’ and B’ Gymnasium students of the 2024-25 school year will attend classes at our East Campus, the new premises of Pierce – The American College of Grece in Spata (Zinonos St., 19 004 Spata)

What are the steps to admission into Pierce? How can you apply for a scholarship? All of your questions regarding Pierce are answered here.

What is the admissions process for Pierce?

Candidates for Α’ Gymnasium are examined in English, Modern Greek and Mathematics in a written test in order to be admitted to the school. You can find further information on the examination syllabus and past exam papers here.

In case of availability, students may be admitted into B’ and C’ Gymnasium, A’ and B’ Lyceum based on their academic performance and their conduct as well as the result of the entrance examination for each respective grade.

How do I apply to take part in the entrance examinations?

You may complete the online Admissions Application here by Friday, April 12 2024.

To complete the process for your child’s participation in the written examinations, please deposit €60 (non refundable) through the National Bank of Greece.

What are the opportunities for scholarships?

There are four types of scholarships at Pierce:

1. Academic Scholarships: apply to candidates for A’ Gymnasium & A’ Lyceum and are awarded based on the students’ scores on their entrance examination. Further information on the exam syllabus and past test papers can be found here.

2. Athletic Distinction Scholarships: apply to Gymnasium – Lyceum students. Further information can be found  here.

3. Music scholarships: apply to Gymnasium – Lyceum students. Further information can be found here.

4. Other scholarships and financial assistance programs: apply to Gymnasium – Lyceum students and are awarded based on income and other criteria. Further information on specific scholarships can be found here.

When do entrance examinations take place and when are the results announced?

The examinations will take place as follows:

A Gymnasium entrance examination (in English, Modern Greek & Mathematics)
Sunday, April 14 2024 (10:00 – 13:30)

B, C Gymnasium and A, B Lyceum entrance examination (in English, Modern Greek & Mathematics)
Saturday, April 13 2024 (10:00 – 13:30)

Results are announced within 10 days of the examination date.

Please note that scores on entrance examinations of all class levels are not announced. Submission of an objection to the results is not possible.
