ENGLISH EXAM FOR Α’ GYMNASIUM
Students are selected based on their performance on a written examination on the English language. You can find on the following links a sample of the English Entrance Exam and the May 2019 Exam.
The examinations for admission to Α’ Gymnasium will take place on Sunday, May 10 2020, 10:00 – 11:30

Candidates for A’ Gymnasium taking part in the entrance examination in English have the option of being examined on the same day in 6th grade (elementary) Greek language and Mathematics.
Candidates who achieve the two highest scores on the academic scholarship test will receive a full scholarship (100% of tuition fees for Α Gymnasium) while another 33 candidates, those with the immediately following scores in the ranking, will receive partial scholarships (discounts of 50%, 35% και 25% on tuition fees, according to their score).
The examinations for academic scholarships (Α’ Gymnasium) will take place on Sunday, May 10 2020, 12:00 – 13:00.

ENTRANCE INTO B’, C’ GYMNASIUM, A’ AND B’ LYCEUM
In case there are spaces available, students may be admitted to the above classes following their parents’ application and based on their school performance, their conduct as well as the result of a written examination in the English language.
The examinations for entrance into Β’, C’ Gymnasium, Α’ and Β’ Lyceum will take place on Saturday, May 9 2020, 10:00 – 11:00.
A’ LYCEUM ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Candidate students who wish to try out for an academic scholarship for A’ Lyceum will be examined on the knowledge they acquired in the subjects of Modern Greek and Mathematics during their Gymnasium studies.
In the Modern Greek language, students will respond to reading comprehension and language production questions. In Mathematics the examination will include comprehension and problem-solving questions, closed-type questions and/or justification and mathematical thinking.

Each of the two subjects will be graded on the basis of 100. The two candidates with the highest scores (sum of grades in English, in Modern Greek and in Mathematics) will receive a full scholarship (100% of tuition fees), on the condition that their grades are over 90/100 in each subject and on the English entrance exam. One candidate, with the next highest score, will receive a partial scholarship (50% of tuition fees).
The academic scholarship examinations (A’ Lyceum) will take place on Saturday, May 9 2020, 11:30 – 13:30
