Dr. Limnios graduated from Pierce College in 2003. He holds an undergraduate degree in Chemistry and a master’s degree in Organic Chemistry by the University of Athens. In 2010 he received his MSc degree from the Department of Organic Chemistry of the University of Athens. In 2013, he completed his PhD thesis on “Asymmetric Synthesis” by the University of Athens. Then, he conducted a post-doc research at the University of Athens along with the University of San Diego (UCSD), under the supervision of the distinguished Professor Edward Dennis. In 2014 he was honored by the American Chemical Society for his contribution to Organic Chemistry (ACS Editors’ Choice®). In 2016 he received the “Χίλδεγαρδ” award from the Academy of Athens for novel research in Organic Chemistry. In addition, he has many publications in high impact factor journals and has attended a plethora of international symposia. He started teaching Organic Chemistry to junior students at the University of Athens in 2017. Currently, he is teaching Chemistry (HL/SL) to IB DP students.
