Junior Achievement Club

The mission of the Junior Achievement Club is to introduce Pierce Lyceum students to the spirit of entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial culture. The club operates within the framework of the organization Junior Achievement Greece, with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

The Club establishes and operates a student virtual enterprise, according to the operating model of a Limited Liability Company.  In the Club, students prepare and submit their own business plan aimed at implementing all the levels of operation of a modern business (product design, production, promotion, sales).

Active participation in this virtual enterprise contributes to the development of important social, administrative, entrepreneurial, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills in students. This participation is a basic element in every student’s Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a valuable introduction to further academic and professional endeavors. Students have the opportunity to demonstrate and cultivate their interests and talents, to put theory into practice, to come in contact with the real functions and problems of a modern enterprise.

There will be participation in Greek and European competitions.
