Cyber Security Laboratory
The Cyber Security Laboratory is a club which aims to implement activities that are related to cyber security. The participants will have the opportunity to obtain valuable experience that will be useful not only in their daily life, but also in their career orientation. They will enhance their knowledge in the field of safety in cyberspace and the security of the information, through practical applications, experience and interactivity, working on real life scenarios. The participants do not need to possess any prior specialized knowledge.
In addition, the students will have the opportunity to participate in global competitions of ethical hacking, known as Capture the Flag (CTF). The specific competitions offer practical experience in dealing with contemporary threats in the cyberspace and give the opportunity to the participants to interact, setting common goals. The basic principle of the Cyber Security Laboratory is to implement contemporary practices online, in which the participants will have the opportunity to work both independently and in teams, selecting the categories that interest them from the above areas.
